What happened to the Remmesa app?

Remmesa is powered by Pangea Money Transfer. However, Pangea Money Transfer will stop supporting new transfers on the Remmesa app and website starting December 1, 2025. After that date, and until December 14, 2025, you can still log in to view your Remmesa account information and past transfers.

Starting December 1, 2025, you can continue sending money directly with Pangea Money Transfer, which offers the same secure and reliable experience. To get started, download the Pangea Money Transfer app or visit pangeamoneytransfer.com and log in to your Pangea account if you already have one or create a new account if you haven’t yet.

Why can’t I make a transfer on the Remmesa app or website anymore?

As of December 1, 2025, the Remmesa app and website no longer support new money transfers. You can still log in to view your account details and past transfers until December 14, 2025.

To continue sending money on and after December 1, 2025, you can use the Pangea Money Transfer app or website for the same trusted experience. To get started, download the Pangea Money Transfer app or visit pangeamoneytransfer.com and log in to your Pangea account if you already have one or create a new account if you haven’t yet.

Can I still log in to my Remmesa account?

Though you will not be able to make any new transfers starting December 1, 2025, you can log in to the Remmesa app or website to view your account and past transfers until December 14, 2025.

Starting December 15, 2025, the Remmesa app and website will be permanently closed and no longer accessible.

If you need help or need to retrieve transfer information after that date, contact Pangea Customer Service.

What happens to transfers that were still in progress?

Any transfers sent through Remmesa that were pending or unclaimed as of December 8, 2025 will be automatically cancelled and refunded to the sender’s original payment method.

Refunds typically appear to the original payment method within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.

If you haven’t received your refund, please contact Pangea Customer Service for help.

How will I know if my transfer was refunded?

You’ll receive an SMS notification once your refund is processed. If you don’t see the refund within 5 business days of receiving that SMS notification, please contact Pangea Customer Service for confirmation.

Can I still get a copy of my transfer history or receipt?

Yes. You can view your past transfers in the Remmesa app or website until December 14, 2025.
After that date, you can contact Pangea Customer Service to request a copy of your transfer history or receipt.

Do I need a new account to keep sending money?

Yes. Once transfers stop on the Remmesa app and website on December 1, 2025, you can continue sending money directly with Pangea, which offers the same secure and reliable experience.
